Settlers of Canaan^TM is based on the award winning game design by Klaus Teuber for Settlers of Catan^® that was Game of the Year in Germany (1995) and Origins Board Game of the Year in the US (1996).

The Settlers of Catan^® has sold more than 3 Million copies worldwide. Cactus has licensed the right to adapt this award-winning game system for the biblically based Settlers of Canaan. The Game takes place in the territory of Canaan off the coast of The Great Sea. Each player represents a tribe of Israel as they seek to settle the land of Canaan and also to help build Jerusalem.
