Now relaunched as a six-book series within the Fisherman Bible Studyguide line, Women of the Word encourages women of all ages and in all stages of life to get into the Word in order to become people of the Word. These six guides include character studies of women in the Bible, topical studies on subjects from marriage to finding God's purposes for one's life, a study on midlife challenges, and a guide of the book of Esther. The unifying theme through all these varied guides is that God's Word can and does speak to women's lives today.
Contemporary women face numerous challenging and often painful issues, including infertility, caring for aging parents, singleness, the role of women in marriage and ministry, materialism, and difficult marriages. Women learn how to make a difference by studying the examples of scriptural women who in so many ways were just like them.
