F. LaGard Smith serves as a Scholar in Residence for Christian Studies at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, and is the author of 20 books, including the widely acclaimed The Daily Bible. For six months each year, Smith gives up his teaching and retreats to England, where he writes, takes long walks in the hills above his cottage, and reflects on the beauty of the English countryside.
