The Pilgrim's Regress was C.S. Lewis' first work that reflected his new-found Christian faith. Though recognized by many as one of his best works, Pilgrim's Regress has never gained the popularity of Lewis' other works, mostly because it contains so many references to classic literature and philosophy.
