Music Scores Series: Debussy; Preludes

This volume contains the 24 preludes by Debussy which were published by the Paris publishers Durand & Cie in two books: Livre I, D. & F. 7687 (I) in 1910 and Livre II, D & F 8697 in 1913. Sources for this Urtext edition include autograph fair copies and first editions. Features characteristic of Debussy's piano notation have been reproduced unchanged. In planning the notation, a conscious attempt has been made in this edition to produce a notation which reflects as accurately as possible the time flow of the music.
