Based on statistics, African American youth have done very well in the industries of sports and music, but still need more motivation to do as well in education and other areas. Not Created to Come Last urges discipline, education, prayer, and hard work to motivate and guide African American teenagers to educational success, professionalism, and leadership. Though parents and guardians have important roles to play in the future success of their children, author Cajetan Ihewulezi believes that every young adult has a role to play in the realization of their dreams.
