The performance that gave rise to the Homecoming phenomenon, “Where Could I Go,” (Homecoming Friends) makes an appearance on Peace In The Valley, a special collection of 20 favorites from a decade of the Gaither Homecoming series, as does a special tribute to the late Ethel Waters, “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” (Lynda Randle, Alicia Williamson, Lillie Knauls, CeCe Winans) taped at the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC. The legendary Cathedrals offer several performances, including “Thanks To Calvary,” “O, What A Savior” and “The Haven of Rest.” The big-voiced Romance Watson sings the title track, and other classics include “Just A Closer Walk With Thee,” “What A Lovely Name,” “Jesus Loves Me” and “One Day At A Time.” Artists include the Gaither Vocal Band, Tanya Goodman Sykes, Jessy Dixon, Guy Penrod, Ivan Parker and Joy Gardner.
