Chapter One
Comfort2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all
comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that
we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort
we ourselves have received from God.
Isaiah 66:13
As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be
their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their
eyes.
Deuteronomy 33:12b
Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he

Forgiveness
Ephesians 4:32
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving
each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances
you may have against one another. Forgive as the
Lord forgave you.
Matthew 6:14
For if you forgive men when they sin against you,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
2 Corinthians 2:5-7
If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved
me as he has grieved all of you, to some extent-not
to put it too severely. The punishment inflicted
on him by the majority is sufficient for him. Now
instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so
that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.
2 Corinthians 2:10
