The music featured here is based on the book, Sing the Story, published in 2007. The music embraces the heart of our worship and devotion: Jesus Christ. The selections especially focus on the seasons of the church year from Advent to Pentecost, telling the story of Jesus. Sing the Story CD features the Story Musicians of Harrisonburg, Virginia; Shekinah, an independent female singing group based in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia; and Sons of the Day, young men who explore the wide variety of a cappella traditions. Selections include: Qui?n dicen que soy yo/Who do you say that I am; The Lord's my shepherd; Open my ears, open my eyes; Comme un souffle fragile/Like a tender breath, stirring; First born of Mary; Praise the One who breaks the darkness; You are holy; There is a well/Un pozo hay; Let the children come to me; Woza nomthwalo wakho/Come, bring your burdens to God; Come unto me; Nothing is lost on the breath of God; Calm me, Lord; Jesus, be the center; How can I say; Jesus walked this lonesome valley; So much wrong; Kyrie; Jesus has done so much for me; For me to live is Christ; and My soul cries out.
