James Brown is a sixty-two-year-old male, one of two boys born March 14, 1945, in Wilmington, North Carolina. He graduated from Williston Sr. High School in 1964. He has a two-year degree from Temple Business School and is a graduate of ITT School of Broadcasting. He was employed with the Washington Star newspaper for sixteen years in the promotion and public relations department as a public information specialist. He has had additional employment in employee and labor relations in the Washington/Baltimore Newspaper Guild (union). Mr. Brown is retired and lives in Washington, D.C.
