Hank Hanegraaff serves as president and chairman of the board of the California-based Christian Research Institute International (CRI). He also hosts CRI’s “Bible Answer Man” program, which is broadcast daily across the United States and Canada.
Hanegraaff came to faith in Jesus Christ as a result of examining the scientific evidence for creation, the resurrection of Jesus and the inspiration of Scriptures. He is the author of Counterfeit Revival, a Silver Medallion winner and Christianity in Crisis, a Gold Medallion winner by the Evangelical Christian Publisher’s Association. Hanegraaff’s book, The F.A.C.E. that Demonstrates the Farce of Evolution also won the 1999 Silver Medallion for excellence in the Christianity and Society category. In September 1999 The Millennium Bug Debugged was released, which went behind the scenes and uncovered the sloppy journalism and sensationalism behind the Y2K hype and other "millennial madness" hysteria. His most recent work is Resurrection, a CBA bestseller that is available as both a book and an audio book.
Two of his most popular titles, Counterfeit Revival and Resurrection will be re-released as trade paper conversions in July 2001.
Other book titles include Personal Witness Training: Your Handle on the Great Commission and Memory Dynamics: Your Untapped Resource for Spiritual Growth. He is also a regular contributor to The Christian Research Journal and The Plain Truth Magazine.
Among his recent media appearances are interviews with Peter Jennings, and on “Larry King Live.” A popular conference speaker, he addresses churches, schools, and businesses worldwide.
Hank Hanegraaff lives in North Carolina with his wife, Kathy and their eight children, Michelle, Katie, David, John Mark, Hank Jr., Christina, Paul and Faith.
