The Church of Jezebel: Hijacking the Gospel

Derik Girdwood weaves a serpentine and suspenseful tale in his new novel as he exposes the twisted theological teachings of some popular churches that portray man with the divine nature that the true Gospel reserves only for God.
Eighteen year old Christina has entered a Bible college with the purpose of becoming a servant and warrior for God. Her roommate, Becky, begins dating the pastors son and soon finds she is pregnant, but to Christinas surprise the college announces that Becky has committed suicide and that a foundation has been formed in her name. When Christina is told by a detective that Becky has been brutally murdered and that Christina is a suspect, a strange journey begins with a missions trip to Haiti and concludes in an ultimate confrontation.
Derik Girdwood uses his tale of twists and turns to expose the dangers of false prophets, Christ-consciousness, the Jezebel spirit and other anti-Gospel doctrines that threaten a Christian these days. The novel cites appropriate scripture along its dramatic path. The book does not have a "happy ending" but it does make the reader think.
