From the city of Angels and the halls of acclaimed Beach Street Studios comes the highly anticipated self-titled debut from gospel quartet, The Soul Seekers. The group is spearheaded by superstar-producing partners Warryn "Baby Dubb" and Teddy Campbell (Brandy, Luther Vandross, Mary Mary, Blaque), who incidentally are the real life marital partners of esteemed gospel duo Mary Mary. The group, all who play guitar, are reminiscent of the Blind Boys of Alabama, and marry contemporary Hip Hop with the sound of the old gospel quartets featuring simmering grooves and stellar production. The scintillating vocal harmonies and traditional melodic rhythms were all written by the group and recorded in the studio under the watchful eye of artist development guru Vicki Mack Lataillade who says of the group "Traditional gospel music has been hard to find these past few years - with The Soul Seekers, we hope to revitalize the genre and give it some verve."
