Most people understand blessings to mean prosperity, health, and success. The biblical concept of blessing, however, is that one who is blessed enjoys the presence of God. Those whom GOd blesses He also cleanses and empowers. Believers, then, become agents of God's blessing--enacting the great commandment to love God and others.
