To Save a Life - Movie Trailer

Overview

(Book only) Dare To Make Your Life Count is a powerful inspirational book for teens, based on the message of the theatrical movie, To Save A Life. It is a call for teens to identify with Jesus, by crossing social boundaries and befriending the lost, hurting, lonely, and hopeless. It is also a call to prayerfully identify the people God has brought into their lives that are just dying to be heard and need God’s unconditional love and grace!

Challenges teens to develop friendships that really matter; teaches teens how God's love, acceptance and forgiveness can "fill the hole in their soul"; shows teens the ripple effect one life can have on others. Helps teens answer the question: What's Your Life Going to Be About?

ABOUT THE AUTHORS: Vicki Kuyper has written more than 50 books, including Jesus Speaks to Teens and Wonderlust: A Spiritual Travelogue for the Adventurous Soul. Her latest release is Breaking the Surface: Inviting God into the Shallows and Depths of Your Mind. Vicki has worked on a wide variety of projects for companies including Integrity Music, the International Bible Society, NavPress, Willow Creek, and Compassion International. She’s also written numerous magazine articles, book reviews, video scripts, greeting cards, and the occasional cow-pun calendar. When Vicki isn’t writing, she often speaks at women’s retreats and special events.

Unlike Todd, Vicki never runs—unless she hears an ice cream truck. However, she did walk 200 miles across Great Britain with her husband for their twenty-eighth wedding anniversary. Yes, her feet were sore. But even then, they did not stink.

Vicki and her husband, Mark, live in Phoenix, Arizona. They have two adult children who not so long ago were teens.

Todd Hafer is an award-winning writer with more than 30 books to his credit. His teen/young adult novel Bad Idea was a Christy Award finalist in the youth category, and its sequel, From Bad to Worse, was named one of the top 10 books of the year by Christian Fiction Review. Battlefield of the Mind for Teens, which he co-wrote with Joyce Meyer, has been a best seller on both the Christian Retailing and CBA lists, and recently reached number one on amazon.com’s teen/spirituality best-seller list. He also collaborated with Don Miller on Jazz Notes: Improvisations on Blue Like Jazz.

In his spare time, Todd mentors young writers and runs way too many miles in and around the Flint Hills. His feet are usually sore. They don’t smell very good either. A parent of four teenagers and one wayward rescue dog, Todd and his wife, JoNell, live in Shawnee, Kansas.
