OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Contest begins August 1st, 2003. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY, VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
CONTEST: Parable Interactive, L.L.C., is pleased to sponsor the Karaoke Contest.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents residing in the 48 contiguous states. The winner must be 18 years or older. The following persons are not eligible to enter or win the Contest: employees of Gospel Music Association/Christian Music Trade Association , and Parable Interactive, L.L.C., Parable Group, Inc., and affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) of the each of the above. Employees of independently owned Parable Christian Stores are not excluded from participating in this Contest.
HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST: All contest entries must be submitted through the Contest Area of this web page. The entry form to the Contest can be found in the Contest Area. Only one entry into the Contest may be submitted within any 24-hour period per person. The entries must be fully and correctly completed in order to participate in the Contest. The winners of the Karaoke Contest will be selected only from those entries that have been correctly completed.
SELECTION OF THE KARAOKE CONTEST WINNER: The Winner of the Karaoke Contest will be selected randomly from among the completed entries on the third business day following the close of the applicable entry period which ends at 12:00a.m. On August 4, 2003. All time references are to Pacific Standard Time or Pacific Daylight Time (as appropriate). All contest winners will be notified by e-mail or by telephone, if contestant does not have an e-mail address. The winner must respond to e-mail notification (or, if contestant has no e-mail address, by telephone) by like means within seventy-two (72) hours or they will forfeit the prize. Contestant must also promptly sign and return the release form provided by Parable Interactive, L.L.C. In the event the initial winner forfeits the prize by failing to respond, by failing to provide Parable Interactive, L.L.C., sufficient documentation needed to verify the information included on the entry form (as required below), by failing to sign such release form, or by otherwise failing to comply with these Official Rules, an alternate prize winner will be chosen from all remaining eligible entries for such contest.
PRIZES: The Winner of the Karaoke Contest will win a Karaoke Machine! Cash will not be rewarded in lieu of the grand prize.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: Limit one prize per person/household, per individual contest. Winners must prove identification and proof of eligibility. Entrants under the age of 18 MUST have their parent's or guardian's permission to enter. Failure to comply with these Official Rules will cause the prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. The Parable Group, Inc. is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions that may limit a participant's ability to take part in this Contest. The Parable Group, Inc. is not responsible for entries lost or delayed or not received for any other reason or for errors in the entry forms or the rules. The Parable Group, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend any or all contests should any virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of such contest. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of The Parable Group, Inc.
WINNERS: For a list of current winners, please check the Contest Area of this web site. The odds of winning depend upon the number of qualified entries received. Each winner acknowledges and agrees that as a condition of winning, The Parable Group, Inc. has the right to publicize his/her first name and last initial, address (city and state), and the fact that he/she won the drawing, and all matters incidental thereto without further compensation. Within 7 days of receiving notification of winning a prize, the contestant may be requested to submit a written consent/release statement to that effect (on a form provided by The Parable Group, Inc.) to The Parable Group, Inc. All applicable local, state, and federal taxes, if any, and incidentals not specified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of and will be paid for by each winner. The decision of The Parable Group, Inc. will be final in all matters pertaining to the qualification and selection of contest entries and the interpretation and application of these Official Rules. The Parable Group, Inc. reserves the right to correct any and all printing, typographical, or mechanical errors. The Parable Group, Inc. and its employees assume no liability or responsibility for the prizes once they have been awarded to the winning entrants. Additionally, The Parable Group, Inc. and its employees will be held harmless against any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the selection of prizes awarded. All federal, state and local laws apply.
