The Parable Group

More than 20 years ago, Parable introduced the concept of a "marketing group" to the Christian retail industry, providing high-quality catalogs, flyers and merchandising kits to independent stores.

Today, The Parable Group provides services way beyond that of a marketing group. A hybrid combination of marketing group, franchise and retail services provider, Parable offers Christian retailers a full range of marketing, merchandising and operational services.

How to become a Parable Christian Store

At Parable, our mission is to resoundingly impact the kingdom of God by equipping Christian retail ministries to be successful, sought-after havens of Christ's love. To that end, we offer two options for independent Christian retailers:

  1. Parable franchising: Conversion to the Parable brand for existing stores, or a new franchise program for start up businesses.
  2. Parable membership: Marketing and retail services to assist existing stores with direct mail promotions.

How to have your products featured in a Parable Christian Store and/or on Parable.com

At Parable, we believe Christ-centered products can change people's lives, so we build relationships with publishers, music companies and manufacturers who share the same vision.

Products featured in our catalogs and flyers are chosen at regularly scheduled presentation meetings. Vendors who have completed an application process present products to a selection board comprised of store owners, buyers and staff. These boards select products best suited to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.
